Jose María Davó Fernandez and Santiago Jiménez Hernández are both lawyers, sons of Malaga and inheritors of its tradition but with a clear projection towards Europe and European Law. Theirs has been a solid and long friendship that started back in College years, throughout Law School at Granada University and all their professional life. They even shared an intensive post-graduate formation in preparation (for exams) to become Judges. As partners they are co-founders of Jiménez y Davó law firm and have shared 30 successful years of practice.

It is a surprise for everyone close to them, to see such a degree of mutual understanding between two people of such a different character but, undeniably, this is a key part of their untroubled partnership. Undoubtedly the strongest bonds are the values of honesty, professionalism and commitment that they share.

The first few years of their professional life took them through different although parallel ways. Whereas Santiago Jiménez Hernández sets up practice together with two other young peers – recognised professionals of today: Pedro Apalategui Isasa and Jose Luis Hurtado de Mendoza - Jose María Davó Fernandez joints an established law firm by then,1973, branching to other European countries.

It is in the running year of 1979 when Jose María Davó joins the law firm co-founded by Santiago Jiménez. From then to date they have been together practising in their Law Firm sited at Muelle de Heredia n°14, in Málaga.
